Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, developing project bids and cost estimates, and acting as a central coordinator for various project-related activities. This role is crucial for ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards of quality. The Project Coordinator will work closely with our field superintendent and other team members to streamline operations and enhance project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement of all necessary materials, equipment, and services for construction projects.
- Develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for project bids, ensuring all factors are considered.
- Collaborate with the field superintendent to understand project needs and logistics.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external vendors, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Maintain and update project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Utilize Odoo ERP for various business operations, including but not limited to inventory, finance, and reporting.
- Coordinate the flow of information and resources between the office and job sites.
- Assist in identifying and resolving any project-related issues or challenges.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a project management or similar role, preferably within the construction or related industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in project management software, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Project.
- Experience with or a strong aptitude for learning ERP systems, specifically Odoo.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required with relevant experience.
