Toolpusher

We’re seeking a Toolpusher with expertise in large-diameter water well drilling up to 2,000 feet. If you’re a leader in the field with technical know-how and a drive for excellence, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and leadership to drilling crews, ensuring all projects are completed safely, on budget, and on schedule.
• Uphold our 'safety-first' culture, fostering a positive work environment while driving crew accountability and adherence to best practices.
• Be ready to get your hands dirty providing direct assistance, mechanical troubleshooting, and guidance in all field operations.
• Perform and oversee advanced drilling and construction techniques.
• Manage and operate complex equipment, including mud systems (desilters, desanders, shakers) and various compressors.
• Execute and interpret data from technical field operations, such as geophysical logging and deviation surveys.
• Must be physically capable of working long hours outdoors in varied weather conditions, performing heavy lifting, and enduring the rigorous physical demands of a drilling site.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven expertise as a Driller or Foreman/Supervisor in water well drilling operations.
• Specific proficiency in drilling large-diameter wells (e.g., 16-inch finished casing wells) using mud and reverse air methods to depths of 1,000 feet or more below land surface.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude for heavy equipment, including proficiency in basic welding and general mechanics to minimize operational downtime.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively motivate crews and coordinate with the Superintendent.
• Current CDL license (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
• Relevant training in advanced safety courses and well construction certifications.
